# Connect Simkl

Connect Simkl to bring your watched activity into Dion and keep supported playback progress and status changes aligned with your Simkl account.

## Connect your account

### iPhone, iPad & Mac

1. Open **Settings → Integrations → Simkl**.
2. Choose **Connect**.
3. Approve Dion in the Simkl web sign-in window, then return to the app.

### Apple TV

1. Open **Settings → Integrations → Simkl**.
2. Follow the URL or scan the QR code shown on screen.
3. Enter the displayed code and approve Dion. Apple TV finishes connecting automatically.

The first sync imports your Simkl library and watched activity. Later changes are checked automatically, and playback updates are sent after you stop watching.

## Add Simkl to Home or Library

After connecting, open **Edit Home → Add Section → Simkl** or **Edit Library → Add Section → Simkl**. Choose the Simkl status you want as a row, such as items you plan to watch or have completed.

## Sync or disconnect

Open **Settings → Integrations → Simkl** to see the connected profile and last sync.

- **Sync Now** checks for changes immediately.
- **Manage on Simkl** opens Simkl's connected-app settings where available.
- **Log Out** disconnects Simkl from Dion on that device.

The Simkl sign-in token is protected by the system Keychain and may be available to your other devices through iCloud Keychain. If a device still shows **Not Connected**, sign in there once.
