# Add or fix EPG sources

The program guide (EPG) is fed per source. To manage it, open **Settings → Sources**, tap an M3U or Xtream source, and choose **Manage EPG**.

## Where guide data comes from

- **Xtream** — Dion automatically adds your provider's own XMLTV feed when you add the source. It shows an "Auto" badge in EPG Sources and can't be deleted.
- **M3U** — playlists don't carry program data, so Dion matches your channels against its own guide service to fill the gaps automatically. A `url-tvg` hint inside the playlist is not used — if your provider gave you an XMLTV URL, add it yourself as a custom source.

## Add your own EPG source

In **EPG Sources**, tap add and pick one of two tabs:

- **Custom URL** — a name and an **XMLTV URL** from your provider or any XMLTV feed you use.
- **Directory** — a built-in list of ready-made country feeds (Spain, United States, United Kingdom, sports variants, and many more). Tap one to add it.

Each source row shows when it last updated. Sources you added yourself can be deleted; the automatic Xtream source can't.

## Which setup do I need?

- **I use Xtream** — nothing to do; your provider's own feed is added automatically.
- **My provider gave me an XMLTV URL** — add it as a **Custom URL**. Its channel IDs match your playlist, so it's the most reliable option.
- **I just want the major channels covered** — add a **Directory** feed for your country.

## Fix wrong program times

If every program on a feed appears shifted by the same amount, the feed's timezone is off. Edit the EPG source's **Offset** in steps of 30 minutes (up to ±12 hours) until the guide matches reality.

## Refresh behavior

Guide data syncs automatically, with a cooldown of about six hours per source, and keeps at least the next six hours covered. **Refresh EPG** in the Live tab menu forces an update. There is no user-configurable interval.
