# Favorite channels

Playlists routinely carry thousands of channels. Favorites keep yours on top.

## Add a favorite

While watching a channel, tap the **bookmark** button in the player controls. The icon fills in to show the channel is saved. Tap it again to remove the favorite.

## Where favorites show up

- The **Favorite Channels** row on the Live tab.
- The **Favorite Channels** filter inside the channel list — open any category and use the category switcher to jump between the current category, **Recently Watched**, and **Favorite Channels**.

## Recently watched

Independently of favorites, Dion tracks the channels you've watched and surfaces them in **Continue Watching** on the Live tab, so your habits shape the tab even before you bookmark anything. With [sync](/support/sync-and-backup/how-sync-and-backup-work) enabled, favorites and recently watched channels follow you across your devices.
