# Connect Jellyfin

Dion signs in to Jellyfin with your server address, username, and password.

## Add your server

1. Go to **Settings → Sources** and choose **Jellyfin** under Media Centers.
2. Enter a **Server Name** (defaults to "Jellyfin") and the **Server URL**. Local addresses like `http://192.168.1.50:8096` and public addresses both work. On Mac, Dion can also scan your local network and list servers it finds.
3. Dion checks the address and shows the server's version when it's reachable.
4. Enter your Jellyfin **Username** and **Password** and tap **Add**.

## Multiple addresses for one server

If you reach your server at different addresses depending on where you are (a LAN IP at home, a domain elsewhere), open the source in **Settings → Sources** and use **Manage URLs** to keep several addresses for the same server.

## If it won't connect

- **"Could not reach a Jellyfin server at that address."** — Check the URL, port (Jellyfin defaults to 8096), and that the device can reach the server on the current network.
- **"Invalid credentials."** — The username or password is wrong. Credentials are the ones you use on the Jellyfin web interface.
- Jellyfin sign-in uses your username and password directly; Quick Connect codes are not supported.
