# Manage your sources

Everything about a source is managed from **Settings → Sources**. Tap a source to open its settings.

## Reload

**Reload** re-syncs the source's catalog — new channels, movies, and episodes your provider added since the last sync. Content also refreshes when the app launches, and you can pull to refresh in the main tabs.

## Edit details

**Edit Details** lets you change the name, URLs, and connection details of M3U, Xtream, SMB, WebDAV, and manifest sources without deleting them — your favorites and watch history stay intact. Plex uses **Reauthorize** instead (a fresh sign-in), while Jellyfin and Emby use **Manage URLs** for server addresses.

## Choose what shows up

**Manage Content** (a [Pro](/support/getting-started/what-is-dion-pro) feature) controls what a source contributes:

- Toggle **Live TV**, **Movies**, and **Shows** per source. Movie and series toggles hide content in the Library without deleting anything — re-enabling is instant.
- For Plex, Jellyfin, and Emby, hide individual **libraries**.
- For live TV, open the category manager to create, reorder, or hide categories and customize their channels — see [organize your channels](/support/live-tv/organize-your-channels).

Home and Library have their own row editors. Use them to add source libraries and collections, change row styles, or give media server destinations a custom name and artwork. See [customize Home and Library](/support/getting-started/customize-home-and-library).

## Metadata preference

Each source has a **Metadata** setting that decides where artwork and details come from.

- **TMDB first** (default) — decorates your content with TMDB artwork and details.
- **Provider first** — prefers the posters and info your provider supplies.

Dion always falls back to provider data when TMDB has no match.

## Source priority

With more than one source, **Settings → Priority** appears, controlling which source wins when the same title exists in several.

## Delete a source

**Delete** removes the source after a confirmation — "All content from this source will be removed." Your watch progress and bookmarks are keyed to the content itself and survive re-adding the same source.
