# Get help and report a problem

## Report a problem from the app

The fastest way to get a bug fixed is the built-in reporter, ideally right after the problem happens:

### iPhone & iPad

1. Open **Settings → Report a Problem**.
2. Dion uploads a diagnostic report — a recent playback and log trace — and gives you a **short code**.
3. A pre-filled email to **hello@getdion.app** opens; describe what went wrong and send it with the code included.

### Apple TV

Open **Settings** and use the diagnostics option to generate the report. You'll get a **short code** — quote it in an email to **hello@getdion.app** from any device.

The code lets us find your exact report. Diagnostic reports contain recent playback and log traces, are used only to investigate your issue, and are deleted after 90 days.

When writing about a playback issue, include your device, the app version (**Settings → Version**), the source type (M3U, Xtream, Plex…), and a diagnostics code if you can — it usually saves a whole round-trip of questions.
