Use of the App

Dion is a media player application that allows you to connect to your own IPTV providers (M3U, Xtream Codes), media servers (Plex, Jellyfin, Emby), and network shares (SMB, WebDAV). Dion does not provide, host, store, or distribute any media content. The app is a player only.

Content Responsibility

You are solely responsible for ensuring that the content you access through the app is legally available to you in your jurisdiction. You must have the appropriate rights, licenses, or subscriptions from your providers, media servers, or network shares. Dion has no control over, and assumes no responsibility for, the content provided by the third-party services you connect to.

Connected Services

Optional integrations such as Plex, Trakt, Simkl, TMDB, and external ratings services are governed by their own terms and availability. By connecting an account, you authorize Dion to access and update the information required for the features you choose, such as libraries, lists, watched status, favorites, or playback progress. You can revoke connected accounts through Dion or the relevant service.

Intellectual Property

Dion and its original content, features, and functionality are owned by Dion and are protected by international copyright, trademark, and other intellectual property laws. Content metadata displayed in the app (including posters, descriptions, trailers, and ratings) may be provided by The Movie Database (TMDB), your connected services, or other identified metadata and ratings sources under their respective terms of use.

Subscriptions

Dion offers optional in-app subscriptions (Dion Pro) that unlock additional features. Subscriptions are billed through Apple's App Store and automatically renew unless cancelled at least 24 hours before the end of the current billing period. You can manage or cancel your subscription in your device's Settings > Apple ID > Subscriptions.

Termination

We reserve the right to terminate or suspend your access to the app at our sole discretion, without notice, for conduct that we believe violates these terms or is harmful to other users, us, or third parties, or for any other reason.

Disclaimer

Dion is provided "as is" and "as available" without warranties of any kind, either express or implied. We do not warrant that the app will be uninterrupted, error-free, or free of harmful components.

Limitation of Liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, Dion shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or any loss of profits or revenues, whether incurred directly or indirectly, or any loss of data, use, goodwill, or other intangible losses resulting from your use of the app or any content accessed through it.

Changes to Terms

We may update these terms from time to time. Continued use of the app after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated terms. We encourage you to review this page periodically.
